Credentials, Certifications & Cost

• Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from USC, with all cognates focused in literacy instruction (Go Gamecocks!);
• Over 24 years of reading instruction experience (public, private, and charter);
• Adjunct Early Literacy Professor within the USC system;
• Reading Coach and Literacy Specialist certifications;
• Structured Literacy certification by the International Dyslexia Association;
• Orton Gillingham (comprehensive and intermediate) training by IMSE and Wilson Language;
• Multiple courses and certifications via the Teachers College, Columbia University, New York

In most situations, two 45-minute sessions a week for $100 are recommended. Research proves that once a week is not enough; three times a week is actually better, but three times a week often overwhelms families, so twice a week is usually the sweet spot.

*Payment includes research-based planning that takes place before and after each session as well as the materials used during each session.

Payment is taken via Zelle or Paypal and is due on the Sunday prior to sessions. Paypal charges a $4 convenience fee. Early payment also ensures commitment on the part of the family as well as the practitioner. Consistency is key when growth is expected.

Cancellation Policy: Invoices are sent on the Friday prior to sessions. All cancellations prior to the invoice date will not be charged. All other cancellations require 24 hours notification to reschedule.
